System installation consists of:

1) Avidyne Model MLX770 Transceiver, p/n 700-00163-( ).

2) Iridium Satellite Antenna, p/n as stated in Installation Manual (IM) Document No. 600-00204-000, Revision 03, or later FAA approved revision.

3) Optional Avidyne Mounting Tray, p/n 700-00165-000.

1. There is no Avidyne Corporation Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) for the Avidyne Corporation Iridium Satellite Datalink Weather System.

2. Maintenance must be in accordance with the applicable Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) as stated in the Master Document List (MDL) referenced on the attached AML, or later FAA accepted revision.

The ICA must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

3. Iridium Satellite antenna installation in accordance with Installation Manual (IM) Document No. 600-00204-000, Revision 03, or later FAA approved revision, is approved only for non-pressurized metallic structure certified to 14 CFR Part 23 §23.305 Amendment 23-45 or earlier and to §23.613 Amendment 23-45 or earlier.

4. Display interface installation is approved only for those compatible displays stated in Installation Manual (IM) Document No. 600-00204-000, Revision 03, or later FAA approved revision.

5. Compatibility of this design with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

Certification Basis:

See attached FAA Approved Model List (AML), Document No. AVMLX-003, Revision 03, or later FAA approved revision for the Certification Basis.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
