Replacement of certain Goodrich pneumatic deicer boots in accordance with SMR Technologies, Inc. Installation Instructions as listed on AML No. SA00670SE.
1. Approval of this change in type design extends to the airplane models listed on the AML with previously approved deicer boots. Intermix of these deicer boots with previously approved deicer boots is permitted.
2. The Maintenance Instructions for Continued Airworthiness contained in SMR Technologies Installation and Maintenance Manual, report # 97-33-047, Rev. 10, dated March 26, 2010, is required with this modification.
3. A copy of this certificate and the FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. SA00670SE, must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
4. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.
5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
