Description of Type Design Change: Modification of Collins VHF-22A/VHF-22B VHF COMM Receiver Transmitter with CTL-22 Control Pro Line II System Installation to a Collins VHF-22C/VHF-22D VHF COMM Receiver Transmitter with CTL-22C Control 8.33 kHz Pro Line II System Installation in accordance with Collins Installation Instructions as listed on AML No. SA00674WI-D, Revision -, or later FAA approved revisions.

Limitations and Conditions: (1) Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only. (2) Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. (3) A copy of this Certificate and FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. SA00674WI-D issued November 17, 1998, or later FAA approved revision, must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft. (4) A VHF-22C unit can be installed to replace either an existing VHF-22A or VHF-22B unit. A VHF-22D unit can only be installed to replace an existing VHF-22B unit. (5) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
