Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of vortex generators on the wings, tail surfaces, and vertical fin, in accordance with Micro AeroDynamics Drawing Package MA2146, Revision A, dated March 11, 2004, and installed in accordance with Installation Manual MA2147, Revision IR, dated January 25, 2001 (for the 206 series) or MA2196, Revision IR, dated March 11, 2004 (for the 207 series), or later FAA approved revisions.
Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only.
This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
NOTE: If more than five vortex generators are damaged or missing, the aircraft is not airworthy.
If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
