Activation of previously approved Static Source Error Correction (SSEC) software used with the Garmin GSU 75B ADAHRS in accordance with West Star Aviation Master Data List, 18328L-1433, Rev E, Dated May/26/2021, or later FAA approved revision. The modified aircraft must be maintained in accordance with Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, West Star Aviation Doc. No. 19328M-901, Revision B, Dated Apr/02/2021, or later FAA accepted revision.

1. This Supplemental Type Certificate does not approve the installation of required equipment for Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM). The following must be previously installed on eligible aircraft:

a. STC SA02571SE, including dual Garmin G600 TXi systems using GDU 1060 system displays and Dual Garmin GSU 75B ADAHRS.

b. STC SA09622AC, for S-Tec Magic 2100 DFCS using computer P/N 01304-01-01-003, or STC SA09546AC-D, for S-Tec Magic 2100 DFCS using computer P/N 01304-07-01-011, or STC SA01844WI, for Garmin GFC 600 AFCS using mode controller P/N 011-02967-02.

2. A copy of this certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

3. If the STC holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

4. The installer must determine if this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Textron Aviation Inc., model 441 aircraft with activated SSEC software used with Garmin GSU 75B ADAHRS is as follows:

1. The type certification basis for the Textron Aviation Inc., Model 441 aircraft is shown on TCDS A28CE for parts not changed or not affected by this change.

2. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by this change since the reference date of application, March 26, 2020, is based on 14 CFR §§ 23 as shown on TCDS A28CE.
