Limitations and Conditions: The basic airplane service life of the wing and associated structure has been established as 11,000 hours time-in-service (TIS). This modification changes the limitation to the following: New service life time in service hours (NTIS) = -0.3 x (TIS) + 21,950. Example: if an owner had a wing with 11,000 TIS, the NTIS after installing this modification is -0.3 x 11,000 + 21,950 = 18,650 hours. Example: if an owner had a wing with 500 TIS, the NTIS after installing this modification is –0.3 x 500 + 21,950 = 21,800 hours. This STC has a 100 hour recurrent inspection requirement as noted in SA38-112-500. If cracking is found , report findings to the STC holder and hold the part for FAA inspection and disposition.

Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. Copies of this Certificate and the Installation document listed above must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
