Description of the Type Design Change: Fabrication of Vortex Generator Kit in accordance with Micro AeroDynamics Drawing Package MA2185, Revision A, dated September 22, 2008, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-approved revision. The vortex generator system must be installed and maintained in accordance with Micro AeroDynamics Installation Manual, Document MA2186, Revision IR, dated May 27, 2003, or later FAA-approved revision.
NOTE: If more than five vortex generators are damaged or missing, the aircraft is not airworthy.
Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the aircraft models listed above only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
