Certification Basis:

1. For the areas unaffected by this modification, the certification basis is as defined in TCDS A-815.

2. For the areas affected by this modification, the certification basis is as defined in TCDS A-815, plus 14 CFR §23.629 at Amendment 23-23, October 30, 1978 and 14 CFR §23.659 at Amendment 23-23, October 30, 1978.

1. Repair Manual Supplement PSM1-3-3 “Control Surface Trim and Servo Tab Balancing Procedure, Viking Air Flutter Prevention Kit”, dated January 31, 2002, or later Transport Canada accepted revision is required with this STC.

2. Maintenance must be performed in accordance with Maintenance Manual Supplement V3MK1148-2, “Installation of Viking Air Limited V3MK1148 Flutter Prevention Kit”, Issue 2, dated February 10, 2002 or later Transport Canada accepted revision.

3. STC SA01243NY supersedes ST01243NY.

5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written permission of that permission.
