Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Aircraft Cylinder & Turbine modified Pratt & Whitney (P&W) R-1340 engine in accordance with Master Drawing List No. 604, Rev. NC, dated January 15, 2002, or later FAA approved revisions as listed on AML No. SA01295LA dated February 8, 2002, or later FAA approved revision. This installation must be done concurrently with STC SE01200LA, which modifies the R-1340 engine.
Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in the type design applies to the above aircraft model(s) only. This approval should not be extended to aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this STC and FAA Approved AML No. SA01295LA dated January 25, 2002, must be included in the permanent records of the modified aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
