Installation of the Garmin GFC 700 Automatic Flight Control System in the Diamond DA 40, DA40F aircraft. Data required:

(1) Garmin Master Drawing List (MDL) 005-00336-01, Revision B, dated June 8, 2006, and (2) FAA Approved Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS), Document No. 190-00492-00, Revision 2, dated June 8, 2006 or later Transport Canada approved revisions to (1) or (2)

1. DA 40 and DA 40F aircraft equipped with a G1000 Integrated Avionics system per STC #SA01254WI and Diamond Aircraft Optional Aircraft Modification (OAM) 40-226 are eligible for this STC.

2. The modified aircraft must be operated in accordance with the applicable AFMS identified on the MDL.

3. The modified aircraft must be operated in accordance with the applicable Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) identified on the MDL.

4. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the p roduct, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
