Installation of Airwolf remote mounted engine oil filter kit AFC-K017 on single and multi-engine fixed light aircraft and rotary wing aircraft incorporating Curtiss-Wright, Jacobs, Kinner, Ranger, Warner and WSK PZL Kalisz reciprocating engines.
1. Airwolf Oil Filter Model AFC-600 (Champion) is included as part of Installation Kit AFC-K017.
2. Airwolf Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, AFC-K000-ICA, revision IR, dated July 5, 2012 or later FAA accepted revision is required with this installation.
3. Engine compartment firewall for mounting oil filter shall be of 0.021 inch minimum thickness ASTM A527 galvanized steel or equivalent (Ref. CAR 3.624(b), 14 CFR PART 23.1191(h)).
4. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.
5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
