Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of vortex generators on the wings and tail surfaces in accordance with Micro AeroDynamics Drawing Package Document MA2198, Revision B, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision, and Micro AeroDynamics Installation Instructions, Document MA2199, Revision B, or later FAA-approved revision. Maintained in accordance with Micro AeroDynamics Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Document MA0666, Revision B, or later FAA-accepted revision.
Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only.
This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model series unless the installer determines that the relationship between this change and any other previously incorporated approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this certificate and the ICA must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
NOTE: If more than five vortex generators are damaged or missing, the aircraft is not airworthy.
