Descriplien of Type Lestyn Chunge: Modification of a Collins Flight Management System, type FMS-3000, Installation in Part 23 Aircraft in accordance with Collins Drawing Index as listed on AML No. SA01453WI-D, Revision -, or later FAA approved revisions.

(1) Prior installation and approval of a Collins Flight Management System, type FMS-3000, is a prerequisite to this STC. Reference Table 1 of Collins installation instructions document number RCA-2446, Revision -, dated September 14, 2007, or later FAA approved revision, for approved Flight Management Computer (FMC)

(2) Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

(3) A copy of this Certificate and FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. SA01453WI-D issued September 25, 2007, or later FAA approved revision, must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

(4) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this Certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
