Description of Type Design Change: Modification of a Rockwell Collins, Inc. AFD-3010 and AFD-3010E Adaptive Flight Display Installation in Part 23 Aircraft in accordance with Rockwell Collins, Inc. Master Drawing List as listed on AML No. SA01544WI-D, Revision -, or later FAA approved revisions.

(1) Prior installation and approval of a Rockwell Collins, Inc. AFD-3010 and AFD-3010E Adaptive Flight Display is a prerequisite to this STC. Reference Table 1 (AFD-3010) or Table 2 (AFD-3010E) of Rockwell Collins, Inc.

Installation Instructions, document number RCA-2549, Revision -, dated March 25, 2009, or later FAA approved revision, for approved AFD-3010 and AFD-3010E Adaptive Flight Display substitutions.

(2) Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

(3) A copy of this Certificate and FAA approved AML No. SA01544WI-D issued February 11, 2010, or later FAA approved revision, must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft

(4) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this Certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
