Installation of the Honeywell KI 825 Electronic Horizontal Situation Indicator (EHSI).

REQUIREED DATA:

1. Honeywell Master Drawing Lis t 159-08331-0001, revision A, dated 6-23-2009 or later FAA approved revision.

2. Honeywell Airplane Flight Ma nual Supplement 00-10325-0000, revision -, dated 6-29-2009 or later FAA approved revision

3. Honeywell Maintenance Manual KI 825 Electronic Horizontal Situation Indicator for Diamond DA 40, 159-08331-1013, revision A, dated 6-23-2009 or later FAA accepted revision must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

1) The installation should not be incorporated in any aircraft unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this installation and any previously approved configuration will not introduce any adverse affect on the airworthiness of the aircraft.

2) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this ce rtificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3) This STC can only be installe d in DA 40 model aircraft that have been factory equipped with the Honeywell KCS 55A Compass System, the Honeywell KAP 140 Automatic Flight Control System, Dual Garmin GNS 430 and/or GNS 530 GPS/NAV/COMM transceivers and the L# WX-500 Stormscope receiver.

4) This STC has been determined to be compatible with Garmin Approved Model List STC SA01933LA.
