Description of Type Design Change : Installation of ignition switch in accordance with Mark Givans’ Installation Manual, document number MGIM2004, Re vision A, dated August 12, 2004, or later FAA approved revision. This modification removes the ex isting ignition switch and replaces it with a different type of ignition switch that is isolated from both batte ry and generator electrical circuits (these circuits retain their existing independent switches).

Limitations and Conditions: Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. The installation should not be incorporated in any airplane unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this in stallation and any previous ly approved configuration will not introduce any adverse effect upon the airwor thiness of the aircraft. The approval of this modification applies to the above-noted airplane model series only. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent records of the modified airplane. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
