Description of the Type Design Change: Fabrication and Installation of Electric Trim System in accordance with FAA approved Master Drawing List Document OAS-290-MDL, Revision A, dated March 30, 2006, or later FAA approved revision. This modification must be inspected and maintained in accordance with the FAA approved Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Document Number OAS-290-23.1529, Revision IR, dated October 7, 2005, or later FAA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to only the Republic RC-3 Seabee.

This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. Aircraft modified in accordance with this STC must be operated in accordance with a FAA approved copy of McHugh Aviation’s Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS), Document Number OAS-290-3.355, Revision IR, dated March 30, 2007, or later FAA approved revision.

A copy of this Certificate and FAA approved AFMS and ICA must be maintained as part of the permanent records of the modified aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
