Cessna 208, 208B

1. This STC is applicable to Model 208 or 208B airplanes equipped with a P&WC PT6A-114, PT6A-114A, or PT6A-140 engine.

2. This STC is applicable to Model 208 airplanes equipped with a P&WC PT6A-42A engine installed by STC SA02467LA and applicable to Model 208B airplanes equipped with a P&WC PT6A-42A engine installed by STC SA02357LA .

3. This STC is limited to Model 208 or 208B airplanes not equipped with the Garmin G1000.

4. Compatibility of this design with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for not significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Cessna 208, 208B installation of a True Blue TB44 Lithium Ion Battery is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Cessna 208, 208B aircraft is shown on TCDS A37CE for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by this change as of the reference date of application, March 25, 2015, is based on Part 23 as amended by Amendment 23-62. Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for not significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
