Description of Type Design Change: Modification of a Rockwell Collins Global Positioning System (GPS) installation in accordance with:

(1) AML RCA-0392, Revision B, dated July 3, 2024;

(2) Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) RCA-0 394, Revision B as specified by AML RCA-0392, Revision B; or later FAA approved/accepted revision for items (1) and (2).

(1) Prior FAA approved installation of a Rockwell Collins GPS-4000S, P/N: 822-2189-001/-002/-003/-004/-005/-006/ -007/-010/-011/-100/-101, is a prerequisite to this STC;

(2) Approval of this change in type design applies to only the aircraft models listed on AML RCA-0392, Revision B, or later FAA approved revisions;

(3) Compatibility of this design change with previously appr oved modifications must be determined by the installer;

(4) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this ce rtificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission;

(5) A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

Note: This modification has been determined to be a no acoustical change in accordance with 14 CFR 21.93(b).

This certificate and the supporting data which is the basi s for approval shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, and revoked or a te rmination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
