2) 3S Certification Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) 3S18-002-6101, Revision IR, Dated:

06/29/2018 or later FAA accepted revisions.

1) Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

2) Prior installation and approval of prerequisite STCs as stated in the ICA, Section 5.3

- Table 5, must be accomplished.

3) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

4) Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model of airplane only.

5) A copy of this certificate and the ICA shall be maintained in the airplane permanent records.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §21.115 and §21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48A, the certification basis for the Textron Aviation Inc. Model 525B Satcom Direct WiFi Hub 2.0 Installation is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Textron Aviation Inc. Model 525B is shown on A1WI for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of the application, 05/22/2018, is based upon 14 CFR Part 23 as amended by Amendment 23-54. Based on 14 CFR 21.21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in the FAA Order 8110.48A, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
