Description of Type Design Change: Modification of Rockwell Collins, Inc. Pro Line Fusion® Flight Display System Application (FDSA) and IMA Configuration Index Table (ICIT) software installations in accordance with:
(1) AML RCA-0646, Revisi on (-) issued June 7, 2019;
(2) Instructions for Continued Airworthiness RCA-0645, Revision (-), dated May 20, 2019.
or later FAA approved/accepted revision for items (1) and (2).
(1) Approval of this change in t ype design applies to the above model aircraft only;
(2) Compatibility of this desi gn change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer;
(3) A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft;
(4) If the holder agrees to permi t another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission;
(5) For model specific limitatio ns, see AML RCA-0646, Rev. (-), or later approved revisions.
This modification has been determined to be a no acoustic change in accordance with 14 CFR 21.93(b).

Certification Basis:
Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. RCA-0646 is as follows:
a. The type certification basis fo r all Models included in AML No. RCA-0646 is included in the applicable TCDS as listed on the FAA approved AML for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The certificati on basis for parts changed or affected by this change since the reference date of application, May 1, 2019 is based upon Part [23] as amended by Amendment 23-49.
