One Propeller Place Piqua, OH 45356 Description of Type Design Change:

Installation of a Hartzell Propeller Inc. 75” diameter three-blade propeller model (P)HC-C3YF-1RF/F7392 with A-2295-1(P) spinner or model (P)HC-G3YF-1RF/F7392 with C-4582-(P) spinner on a Cessna R172K (Hawk XP) Landplane aircraft, in accordance with Hartzell installation instructions HP-R172K-NST dated October 28, 2004, or later FAA approved revision.

Date of issuance : December 3, 2004 Limitations and Conditions:

1. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

2. This STC is compatible with STC SA1437CE that installs the TCM IO-360-K, or –KB, engine as modified by STC SE1436CE. The re-rated engine is designated IO-360-KC, or –KBC, which increases the power rating to 210 hp @ 2800 RPM for five minutes at takeoff and 195 hp @ 2600 rpm maximum continuous.

3. FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement HP-R172K-AFMS, dated October 28, 2004, or later FAA approved revision is required as part of this modification.

4. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the person written evidence of that permission.
