Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of a CO Guardian 452R Carbon Monoxide Detector per AeroMech, Inc., Master Data List document AM0243-DL02-00, Revision “A,” dated December 8, 2010, or latest FAA-approved revision. This modification must be inspected and maintained in accordance with Section 5 of the FAA approved AeroMech Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, document no. AM0243-IC01-00, Rev. -, dated October 5, 2010, or later FAA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

Aircraft modified in accordance with this STC must be operated in accordance with a copy of an FAA approved Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) No. AM0243-FM01-00, Rev. Original, dated January 24, 2011, or later FAA approved revision.

A copy of this certificate and the FAA approved AFMS must be maintained as part of the permanent records of the aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of the permission.
