Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of Garmin GTS 825 (TAS) or GTS 855 (TCAS I) Traffic System in accordance with Master Drawing List, GTS 8X5 Part 23 AML STC, 005-00738-01, Rev 1, dated May 2, 2014, or later FAA-approved revision. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) are provided in the Maintenance Manual 190-01279-01, Rev 1, dated May 1, 2014, or later FAA-approved revision. Limitations and operating procedures are provided in Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS), 190-01279-02, Rev 1, dated May 2, 2014.

1) Approval of this change in type design applies to the airplanes listed on AML SA02121SE only.

2) This approval should not be extended to other airplanes of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the relationship between this change and other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that airplane.

3) A copy of this certificate, AML SA02121SE, and applicable AFMS and ICA, as identified by Master Drawing List 005-00738-01 Rev 1, dated May 2, 2014, or later FAA-approved revision, must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
