3. Installation of the Hartzell Model HC -C2YR-1BF/F8477-4 Propeller and Hartzell Model C -1576 Damper Assembly is approved for seaplanes or airplanes with a tail wheel landing gear. For installation of the Hartzell Model HC -C2YR-1BF/F8477-4 Propeller and Hartzell Model C -1576 Damper Assembly on tricycle gear aircraft, the aircraft must be equipped with a Cessna heavy-duty nose strut (or equivalent) and at least a 6.00 x 6 nose tire and comply with CAR 3.422

4. All airplanes incorporating HC-C2YR-1BF/F8477-4 and Hartzell Model C-1576 Damper Assembly design change must also incorporate an FAA approved installation of a Lycoming Model IO-360 -A1A, -A1B, -A1C, -A1D, -B1A, -B1B, -B1D, -B1E, -B1F, -C1A, -C1B, -C1C, - C1F, -D1A, -M1A, -M1B; Or Lycoming Model O-360-A1A, -A1C, -A1D, -A1F, -A1G, -A1H, -A1P, -C1A, -C1C, -C1E, -C1F, and -C1G.

5. FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, Document No. AFMS-172-01, dated January 15, 2004, or later FAA approved revision, is a required part of the Model HC-C2YR- 1BF/F8477-4 Propeller and Hartzell Model C-1576 Damper Assembly installation.

6. For Instruction for Continued Airworthiness on the Model HC-C2YR-1BF/F8477-4 Propeller and Hartzell Model C-1576 Damper Assembly installation, refer to Hartzell Manual No. 115N.

7. Installation of the Hartzell HC-C2YR-1N/NG8301 ( ) is approved for seaplanes or airplanes with a tail wheel landing gear and a minimum of 8.00 x 6 main tires.

8. Installation of the Hartzell HC-C2YR-1N/NG8301 ( ) is limited to aircraft also incorporating FAA approved installations of Lycoming engine models O-360-A1A, or O-360-A1D.
