Extended Heavy Duty Main Landing Gear Manufactured in accordance with Master Drawing List (MDL) ABI-4022X, Revision A, dated February 17 2012, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-approved revision; Installed in accordance with ABI-4022X-IM, Revision IR, dated January 17, 2012, or later FAA-approved revision; and Maule Aerospace Drawing 4035F, Revision H, dated January 26, 2009, or later FAA-Approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only.

This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model series unless the installer determines that the relationship between this change and any other previously incorporated approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

STC Compatibility:

This STC is not compatible with Increased Gross Weight Modifications.

Instructions for Continued Airworthiness Airplanes modified in accordance with this STC must be maintained in accordance with the applicable Instructions for Continued Airworthiness document specified below:

ABI-4022X-ICA Revision C, dated February 17, 2012, or later FAA accepted revision.

Flight Operations:

Airplanes modified in accordance with this STC must be operated in accordance with the applicable Airplane Flight Manual, including applicable Supplement(s) for the aircraft.

Certification Basis:

Airworthiness & Environmental Standards for components and areas not affected by the change are the original type certification basis for the aircraft models Bee Dee M-4, M-4, M-4C, M-4S, M-4T, M4-180C, M-4-180V, M-4-210, M-4-210C, M-4-220C, M-5-180C, M-5-200, M-5-210C, M-5-210TC, M-5-220C, M-5-235C, M-6-180, M-6-235, M-7-235, M-7-235A, M-7-235B, M-7-260, MX-7-160, MX-7-180, MX-7-180A, MX-7-180B, MX-7-235, and M-8-235 as shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) 3A23 Revision 30.
