Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a Lycoming O-320-E2D engine on Cessna Model 177 aircraft in accordance with Hot Springs Aviation Installation Instructions INST-177-02, dated August 30, 2005, or later FAA approved revision.
1) When the engine is modified in accordance with Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) Number SE3692SW, Supplemental Airplane Flight Manual, Document No. SAFM-177-02, Revision 2, dated April 6, 2016, or later FAA approved revision is a required part of this modification.
2) When the engine is modified in accordance with STC Number SE00252SE, Supplemental Airplane Flight Manual, Document No. SAFM-177-03, Revision 1, dated April 6, 2016, or later FAA approved revision, is a required part of this modification.
