SA02248LA revision B, dated December 29, 2011 or later FAA approved revision; and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) Document No. 622 revision F, dated July 20, 2011 or later FAA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: This STC is for installation of the sensor pod and wiring from the sensor pod into the fuselage. This STC does not include power to the sensor pod or the sensor control unit.

The installation should not be incorporated in any airplane unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this installation and any previously approved configuration will not introduce any adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the airplane. The approval of this modification applies only to the airplane model series listed in the approved model list. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent records of the modified airplane. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission. For operational approval of any device that contains lithium batteries in equipment connected to this STC provisions should be tested per the Lithium Battery Operational Performance Standards of RTCA/DO-311. Flight Standards may require the operator to show that the portable device’s batteries met certain test criteria for their operational approval.

This change has been determined to be a no acoustic change in accordance with 14 CFR 21.93(b)
