Operated in accordance with Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) document KAH-MKIII-1200-FMS Revision A dated June 17, 2020 or later FAA approved revision when incorporated with Viking Air Limited, Flight Manual Supplement VAL TB 1200-20, Revision 7, dated May 29, 1992.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only.

This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the relationship between this change and other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this certificate, FAA approved AFMS, and ICA must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Both documents are required.

This installation allows the installation of either Wipaire Inc. Model 6100 floats or Aerocet Inc. Model 5850 floats.

The following requirements are in addition to those listed in the Description of the Type Design Change. For airplanes equipped with Wipaire Inc. Model 6100 floats, this installation requires the following:

1. Installation of STC SA945NE, Viking Air Limited, 6,000lb Gross Weight Increase.

2. Installation of STC SA309CH, Wipaire, Inc., Model 6000 Floats (for Float/Amphibious equipped aircraft).

3. Wipaire, Inc. Model 6000 floats must be modified to Model 6100 floats per Wipaire Service Letter Number 33, dated September 15, 1994 or later FAA approved revision.

4. Installation of “Kenmore 6000lb Turbine Beaver Weight Increase,” Kenmore Air Engineering Order Document KAH-MKIII-6200, Revision 00, dated January 6, 2013, or later FAA approved revision.

For airplanes equipped with Aerocet, Inc. Model 5850 floats, this installation requires the following:

1. Installation of STC SA945NE, Viking Air Limited, 6,000lb Gross Weight Increase.

2. Installation of STC SA1723GL, Wipaire, Inc., Installation of Flow Energizers.

3. Installation of floats in accordanc e with “Master Drawing List, Addition of Aerocet 5850 Float to 6000 lbs GW STC,” KAT2UF1000-MDL, Revision N/C, dated May 15, 2020, or later FAA approved revision.

4. Maintained in accordance with ICA document 32-647-24-01, Revision NC, dated April 9, 2020, or later FAA accepted revision (in addition to document KAH-MKIII-6201, Revision IR, dated November 27, 2012 or later FAA accepted revision).
