Description of Type Design Change: Installation of FAA approved sealed lift struts in accordance with Airframes, Inc., Master Drawing List No. 315, Revision B, dated October 2, 2007, or later FAA approved revision and Airframes, Inc. Installation Instructions, AFI-II- TCSTRUT, Revision A, dated October 8, 2007, or later FAA approved revision.
1) Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.
2) For instructions for continued airworthiness, refer to Airframes, Inc., “Instructions for Continued Airworthiness”, Revision A, dated October 8, 2007, or later FAA accepted revision.
3) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
4) These FAA approved sealed lift struts are an approved replacement for Part Numbers MA-A815 and MA-A854 and meet the requirements of Airworthiness Directive 2007-16-14.
