Installation of Airglas L2500A skis with Airglas bungee (Airglas Part No. 8020) or F. Atlee Dodge gold (F. Atlee Dodge Part No. 2127) or silver (F Atlee Dodge Part No. 2097) springs, in accordance with Burl’s Aircraft, LLC, Descriptive Data List No.15AC-L2500ADL-1, dated January 30, 2008, or later FAA approved revision.
1) The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
2) For Instructions of Continued Airworthiness, refer to Burl’s Aircraft, LLC “Installation Instructions and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness for Installation of L2500A Wheel Replacement Skis on the Aeronca Model 15AC Series Airplane,” Document No. 15AC/L2500A, dated January 30, 2008, Rev. Original, or later FAA approved revision.
3) Airplane Flight Manual (Skiplane Supplement), dated January 25, 1949, for the Aeronca 15AC is required with this installation.
4) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
