Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Lycoming O-320-B2B engine, McCauley 1A175/GM propeller and modification of airframe in accordance with Configuration Specification, PW-J5PA12-06, Revision x1, dated November 2009.
1. Data pertaining to this modification are inadequate for duplication in other aircraft. This approval is limited to Piper J5C, Serial Number 5-1394 only. No additional modifications of this type are to be approved solely by reference to this Supplemental Type Certificate.
2. Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement No. PW-AFMS-J5PA12-01, dated April 22, 2010, or later FAA approved revision, is a required part of this modification.
3. For instructions for continued airworthiness, refer to Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, PW-ICA- J5PA12-03, Revision B, dated April 2010, or later FAA accepted revision.
4. A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent record of the modified aircraft.
