Installation of Piper Part Number 12649-00 Stabilizer and Piper Part Number 12647-00 Elevators in lieu of original components in accordance with Piper J-3 Maintenance Manual (Part Number APIB001, No Revision or later FAA Approved Revision) and Type certificate Data Sheet A-691.
1) The installation should not be incorporated in any aircraft unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this installation and any previously approved configuration will not introduce any adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft.
2) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
3) The Kansas City Aircraft Evaluation Group has accepted your statement that this STC can be maintained in accordance with Piper J-3 Maintenance Manual, Part Number APIB001, No Revision or later FAA Approved Revision.
