I with gross weight increase to 5,600 lbs. to incorporate wing angle change in accordance with TAG Aerospace Inc. Master Document List, Report Number 001020-10, Revision B, dated December 10, 2012, or later Transport Canada approved revision.

1) The following modifications are required for the Viking Air Limited model DHC-2 Mk. I as part of this approval:

a) Gross Weight Increase to 5,600 lbs., STC SA00299NY

b) Beaver Wing Angle Modification, STC SA01258NY. As part of STC SA01258NY, STC number SA1070NE is required.

2) For Instructions for Continued Airworthiness and Airworthiness Limitations for wing strut life limits, reference TAG Aerospace Inc. Maintenance Manual Supplement, DHC-2 Beaver 5,600 lb. Maximum Gross Weight with Stolairus Wing Angle Change, Report Number 001020-07-1, Revision NC, dated April 5, 2013, or later Transport Canada accepted revision.

3) The following DHC-2 Mk. I configurations are approved:

a) Landplane: Maximum gross weight 5,600 lbs.

b) Skiplane: Maximum gross weight 5,600 lbs.

c) Floatplane: Maximum gross weight 5,500 lbs. with EDO 679-4930 or EDO 58-4580 floats

d) Floatplane: Maximum gross weight 5,600 lbs. with Wipline Model 6000 or 6100 Amphibian Floats in accordance with STC SA01324CH

e) Floatplane: Maximum gross weight 5,600 lbs. with Aerocet Model 5850 Twin Seaplane Floats in accordance with STC SA01722SE

4) The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

5) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Certification Basis: Based on Civil Air Regulations part 03, dated November 13, 1945, and Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations, part 23, section 1529 as amended by 23-26.
