Installation and rigging of F.Atlee Dodge Model F.A. DODGE X-1 wheel replacement skis in accordance with F. Atlee Dodge Aircraft Services, LLC, Master Data List MDL 8041, Revision IR, dated October 15, 2013 or later FAA approved revision.

1. This type design change approval is limited to airplanes that are equipped with F. Atlee Dodge 3” extended PA-18 style main landing gear and F. Atlee Dodge main landing gear safety cables in accordance with FAA approved data. (See AML)

2. F.A. DODGE X-1 wheel replacement skis must be operated in accordance with FAA approved Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement AFMS-8041, dated December 23, 2013 or later FAA approved revision.

3. Seaplanes must be converted to land planes in accordance with FAA approved data prior to installation of F.A. DODGE X-1 wheel replacement skis.

4. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
