3A24 Cessna A185E, S/N 185-1069 one-only Description of Type Design Change:
This STC removes the requirement to retain the amphibious floats listed on the one-only STC SA2190WE (installation of a Continental TSIO-520-C engine, McCauley D2A34C-58/90AT-4 propeller and associated equipment in accordance with Eagle Flightways Report Number 3691, dated May 1, 1970) previously issued for Cessna model A185E, S/N 185-1069. One-only STC SA2190WE is a prerequisite for this STC. For required placard information, see continuation sheet.
Descriptive data pertaining to this design change cannot be duplicated in other products. This approval is limited to the installation on Cessna model A185E, S/N 185-1069 one-only. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations. A copy of this certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records of this aircraft. See continuation sheet.

The following placards are required to be installed on the instrument panel in full view of the pilot:
1. “FOR AIRPLANE PERFORMANCE BELOW 1500 FEET DENSITY ALTITUDE, USE PERFORMANCE INFORMATION AVAILABLE FOR 1500 FEET.
FOR AIRPLANE PERFORMANCE AT, OR ABOVE 1500 FEET, USE ORIGINAL AIRPLANE PERFORMANCE.”
Replace placard (no. 5) required by one-only STC SA2190WE that reads: “TOTAL WEIGHT OF PILOT, PASSENGERS, FUEL, OIL, AND BAGGAGE IS NOT TO EXCEED 962 LBS. REFER TO THE APPROVED LOADING SCHEDULE.”; with:
2. “TOTAL WEIGHT OF PILOT, PASSENGERS, FUEL, OIL, AND BAGGAGE IS NOT TO EXCEED 962 LBS. WHEN EQUIPPED WITH EDO 597-2790 AMPHIBIAN FLOATS. REFER TO THE APPROVED LOADING SCHEDULE.”
