Original Product Make: Viking Air Limited Type Certificate Number: A9EA Model: DHC-6-100, DHC-6-200 DHC-6-300, DHC-6-400 Description of Type Design Change: Installation of wing Hardpoints in accordance with FAA approved IKHANA Aircraft Services Installation Drawing List No. ER218-1220, Revision NC, dated December 29, 2016, or later FAA approved revisions. Design approval of the wing hardpoints per IKHANA Aircraft Services Master Drawing List No. ER218-1221, Revision NC, dated December 29, 2016, or later FAA approved revisions.
Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this modification applies to the above noted model airplane series only that have Viking Post-Mod No. 6/1117 wing box assemblies or wing box assemblies modified per IKHANA Group, Inc. STC No. SA00160LA-A. This approval should not be extended to other specific airplanes of this model series on which other approved modification are incorporated, unless it is determined that the interrelations between this change and any of those other previously approval modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent records of each airplane modified in accordance with this STC. (Continued on Sheet 3).

Certification Basis
Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the IKHANA Group Inc. DHC-6 wing hardpoints is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for the DHC -6 series airplanes is shown in TCDS A9EA for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of the application, December 18,, 2013, is based upon 14 CFR part 23 as amended by Amendment 23- 59.
Based on 14 C FR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
