Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of a Hartzell Propeller Inc. Model HC-C2YR-1N/NG8301-3 Propeller in accordance with Report 140100II, Revision NC, dated August 24, 2018, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision on aircraft modified in accordance with both STC SA92NW and SA00411SE.
Limitations and Conditions: This modification requires prior or concurrent incorporation of:
1 - STC SA92NW, Installation of Lycoming O-360 Series Engine. Only engine model O-360-C1G (hollow crankshaft) permitted with this installation, and 2 - STC SA00411SE, Installation of Cub Crafters extended landing gear kit.
Minimum tire size permitted is 8.50x6-6.
Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model series unless the installer determines that the re lationship between this change and any other previously incorporated approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft.
Modified aircraft must be maintained in accordance with Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) Report 140100II, Revision NC, dated August 24, 2018, or later FAA-accepted revision. Modified aircraft must be operated in accordance with Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) 140100FMS, Revision NC, dated November 13, 2018, or later FAA-approved revision.
A copy of this certificate, ICA, and AFMS must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
