Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Lycoming IO-360 M1A series engines with MTV-12-B-C-F series propellers.
1. Installation shall be in accordance with Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. Installation Instructions D42L-STC-004 Installation Instructions for Lycoming IO-360 M1A/ LIO-360 M1A Engines, Rev 1, dated August 6, 2009 or later Transport Canada approved revisions.
2. Aircraft shall be operated in accordance with Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. Aircraft Flight Manual D42L-AFM-002, Revision 04, dated August 18, 2009 or later Transport Canada approved revision.
NOTE: This Aircraft Flight Manual replaces the Flight Manual required by Type Certificate A57CE in its entirety.

4. The Installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
5 If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
