Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a Unit Load Device (ULD), including pallet, net, and container in accordance with Satco Controlled Drawing Lists CD37670-501 Revision A, dated December 14, 2023, 37671-501 Revision A, dated December 14, 2023, and 37672-501 Revision A, dated December 15, 2023, or later approved revisions.
Limitations and Conditions: This Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) is eligible only on Textron Model 408 aircraft in the Freighter Variant with the Ancra Cargo Loading System part number 85540-10, or later approved revisions.
Installation and operation shall be in accordance with Section VI – Weight And Balance Data and Equipment List of the FAA Approved Textron Model 408 Airplane Flight Manual 408FM-00, dated March 7, 2022, or later approved revisions. This installation should not be incorporated in any aircraft unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any previously approved configuration will not introduce any adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
