Installation Instructions as listed on MDL-0064, revision A, dated October 25, 2011, or later FAA approved revision.

Individual P/N installation eligibility as specified on B/E Aerospace drawing 4MA2614, revision 1, dated October 26, 2011 or later FAA approved revision.

1. Approval of this change in type design extends to the airplane models listed above with previously approved deicer boots. Part-for-part replacement of these deicer boots with previously approved deicer boots is permitted.

2. The Maintenance Instructions for Continued Airworthiness contained in B/E Aerospace SMR Technologies Installation and Maintenance Manual, report # 97-33-047, Rev. 10, dated March 26, 2010, or later FAA approved revision, is required with this modification.

3. A copy of this certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

4. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

5. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation series replacement of Goodrich pneumatic deicer boots is as shown on TCDS 3A20, 3A16, A24CE for parts changed or affected by the change.
