1. Installation of Rolls-Royce 250 B17F/2 turbine engines, Hartzell HCB3TF7A/T9212DNK7 propellers, and associated structures and equipment in accordance with O&N Aircraft Modifications, Inc., Installation Drawing List, Report ON-2013, Revision A, dated June 26, 2012 or later FAA approved revision.

2. All aircraft modified per this STC must be delivered with the FAA approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement for Cessna Model 340/340A with Rolls-Royce Engine Model 250-B17F/2, O&N Aircraft Modifications, Inc. Report ON-2018, Revision IR, dated July 24, 2012, or later approved revisions.

1. The following modification are required for Cessna 340 and 340A airplanes as part of this modification;

a. Micro AeroDynamics, Inc., Vortex Generator and Take Off Gross Weight Increase, STC SA4934NM

2. This Aircraft is restricted from Flight Into Known Icing (FIKI) conditions.

3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

4. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR § 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Cessna Model 340/340A series aircraft modification to replace the existing Teledyne Continental, TSIO-520, -540 series piston engine with a Rolls-Royce 250-B17F/2 turbine engines is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Cessna 340 series airplanes is shown on TCDS 3A25 for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, October 22, 2008, is based upon Part 23 as amended by amendment 23-59.
