Description of Type Design Change: Installation of improved Horizontal Stabilizer Attachment Fitting XLS Kit XLS-K-2200-221 or Kit XLS-K-2200-21 manufactured in accordance with XLS Company, LLC Drawing List Report XLS-2-2200-21-MDL, Revision B, November 18, 2005 and installed in accordance with XLS Company, LLC Installation Instructions Report XLS-2-2200-21-500, Revision B, dated November 18, 2005, or later FAA approved revisions.
Maintenance must be in accordance with XLS Company, LLC Instructions for Continued Airworthiness Report XLS-2-2200-21-ICA, no revision , dated October 15, 2005, or later FAA accepted revision. These parts are life limited to 850 hours time in service. Compatibility of this design change with other previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
