3 This modification consists of replacing the existing engine on Lake Aircraft LA-4-200 with a Lycoming IO-390-A1A6 and installing one of the 3 following propellers:

1. MT Propeller MTV-12-B/LD188-119a, to be installed with either MT Propeller spinner assembly P-1005-1 or P-1005.

2. MT Propeller (reversing) MTV-12-B-C-R(M)/CRLD188-119a, to be installed with MT Propeller P-480 Series Reverse Governor and either MT Propeller spinner assembly P-1005-1 or P-1005.

3. Hartzell Propeller BHC-E2YR-1BLFP/FL7894-4.

1. This STC is limited only to the below aircraft-engine-propeller configuration, as applicable:

a) Aircraft: Lake LA-4-200

b) Engine: Lycoming IO-390-A1A6

c) Propeller: MTV-12B/LD188-119a (Non-Reversing) or MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH's MTV-12-B-C-R(M)/ CRLD188-119a (Reversing) or Hartzell Propeller BHC-E2YR-1BLFP/FL7894-4

4. Installation, operation, and maintenance of Lycoming IO-390-A1A6 engine and propeller configurations in accordance with:

a) Lycoming Operation and Installation Manual IO-390 Series #60297-34-1, Rev.0, dated June 2009 or later Transport Canada approved revision;

b) Lycoming Maintenance and Overhaul Manual AEIO-390-A, dated April 2012 or later Transport Canada approved revision.

c) Lake Central Air Services Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Doc. LCA01250-CD, Rev 3, dated February 11, 2016, or later Transport Canada accepted revision; and

d) Lake Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Rev. 3, dated January 3, 2003, or later Transport Canada accepted revision.

e) For continued airworthiness of the MT Propeller MTV-12-B/LD188-119a to be installed with either MT Propeller spinner assembly P-1005-1or P-1005, maintain in accordance with MT Propeller Operating and Installation Manual E-124, Rev 56, dated September 15, 2015 or later Transport Canada accepted revision; or

f) For continued airworthiness of the MT Propeller MTV-12-B-C-R(M)/CRLD 188-119a, to be installed with MT Propeller P-480 Series Governor and either MT Propeller spinner assembly P-1005-1 or P-1005, maintain in accordance with MT Propeller Operating and Installation Manual E-124, Rev 56, dated September 15, 2015 or latest Transport Canada accepted revision AND MT Propeller Operating and Installation Manual E-508, dated June 12, 2002 or later Transport Canada accepted revision; or

g) For continued airworthiness of the Hartzell Propeller BHC-E2YR-1BLFP/FL7894-4, maintain in accordance with Hartzell Overhaul and Maintenance Manual 113B, Rev 42, dated April 2015 or later Transport Canada accepted revision.

h) Lake Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement, LCA-01250-FMS, Rev. 3, dated October 26, 2015, or later Transport Canada approved revision.

e) Governor: MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH's P-480-( ) Series

2. Mandatory limitation must be observed in the operation of this aircraft in accordance with Section 2, Lake Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, LCA-01250-FMS, Rev. 3, dated October 26,2015, or later Transport Canada approved revision.

3. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

4. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
