Installation of WSI AV-700 XM Weather Receiver or Garmin GDL-69 XM Weather Receiver in the Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 and 208B Series Aircraft in accordance with Chippewa Aerospace Master Drawing List (MDL) No. 208-2381-01-0001, Rev. 2, Dated May 17, 2016, or later FAA approved revision.
FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) to the Model Textron Aviation (Cessna) 20 and 208B Series Aircraft for the Installation of the Garmin GDL-69 Sirius XM Satellite Radio Data Link Weather Receiver in accordance with Chippewa Aerospace Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) No. 208-2381-02-1012, Rev. IR, Dated November 07, 2016, or later FAA approved revision, is a required part of this STC. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this change and any other previously approved modifications will produce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that airplane. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Certification Basis:
Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 and 208B Series aircraft is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 and 208B airplane is shown on TCDS A37CE for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, June 02, 2016, is based upon part 23 as amended by Amendment 23-62. Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
