Configuration 2: G950 NXi System (Series 100/200/300) Installation of the Garmin G950 NXi Integrated Flight Deck System must be done in accordance with TCCA approved Genesys Engineering Order A029431 Issue I, dated 19 January 2024, or later TCCA approved revision.

Configuration 3: G950/1000 NXi System (Series 400) Installation of the Garmin G950/1000 NXi Integrated Flight Deck System must be done in accordance with TCCA approved Genesys Engineering Order A179430 Issue B, dated 6 June 2024, or later TCCA approved revision.

Series 100/200: TCCA approved Genesys Airplane Flight Manual Supplement A029602, Issue H, dated 22 January 2019, or later TCCA approved revision.

Series 300: TCCA approved Genesys Airplane Flight Manual Supplement A029601, Issue H, dated 22 January 2019, or later TCCA approved revision.

Series 400: TCCA approved Genesys Airplane Flight Manual Supplement A179601, Issue B, dated 6 June 2024, or later TCCA approved revision.

4. Maintenance of the Garmin G950 Legacy or G950/1000 NXi Integrated Flight Deck System must be in accordance with:

Series 100/200/300: TCCA accepted Genesys Instructions for Continued Airworthiness A029600 Issue J, dated 19 January 2024, or later TCCA accepted revision.

Series 400: TCCA accepted Genesys Instructions for Continued Airworthiness A179600 Issue B, dated 6 June 2024, or later TCCA accepted revision.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification to the Viking Air Limited DHC-6-100, DHC-6-200, DHC-6-300, and DHC-6-400 is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the DeHavilland DHC-6-100, DHC-6-200, DHC-6-300, and DHC-6-400 as shown on the TCDS A9EA for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the DeHavilland DHC-6-100, DHC-6-200, DHC-6-300, and DHC-6-400 as shown on the TCDS A9EA for parts changed or affected by the change with the following requirements:

• 14 CFR Part 23 including amendments 23-1 through 23-62 with the follow exceptions:

23.1457 at Amendment 23-35

23.2000, 23.2005, 23.2010, 23.2325(g), 23.2510, 23.2525, 23.2540(b) at Amendment

23-64.
