The installation of MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH's Model# MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(G)/CFRL270-66 5-Blade constant speed full feathering, reversible propeller and spinner on Textron Aviation Model 208 and 208B aircraft in accordance with the configuration stated in the Master Operation Manual List, Doc. No. E-2666, Rev. 2, dated November 02, 2016, or later EASA approved revision and Installation Instructions, Doc. No. E-2668, Rev. 0, dated June 30, 2015, or later EASA approved revision.

1. STC SA02291AK or SA10841SC are required for installation.

2. The aircraft must be operated in accordance with the “Limitations” section of Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, Doc. No E-2667, Rev. 2, dated November 02, 2016 or later EASA accepted revision.

3. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

4. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

2. Operation must be in accordance with Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement, Doc. No E-2667, Rev. 2, dated November 02, 2016, or later EASA accepted revision, and is required as part of this installation.

3. Maintenance must be in accordance with Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Doc. No. E-2669, Rev.0, dated July 01, 2015, or later EASA accepted revision.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §21.115 and §21.101, and FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification to the Textron Aviation 208 and 208B aircraft is as follows:

a) The type certification basis for the Textron Aviation 208 and 208B aircraft as shown on TCDS A37CE for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b) The type certification basis for the Textron Aviation 208 and 208B aircraft as shown on STC SA10841SC or STC SA02291AK as applicable for parts changed or affected by the change with the following exception:

● Compliance with 14 CFR Part 36 at Amendment 36-30.
