1. Design modifications to include installation of placard to deactivate potty seat not to be occupied for taxi, takeoff and landing to allow operation under 14 CFR Part 68 (Basic Med) in accordance with installation instructions contained in N47MM Supplemental Type Certificate Modification Instructions Document Number MI-PA-31-N47MM Revision C, dated July 26, 2017.

2. The following document is required for this installation:

a. Northeastern Aviation Corp. Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement AFMS-PA31-N47MM Revision IR, FAA approved August 8, 2017.

1. Airplane operation is limited to Part 91 for Basic Med.

2. Design modifications to comply with the requirements to be operated in compliance with 14 CFR Part 68 (Basic Med) are as follows:

i. Maximum take-off weight (MTOW) is 6000 lbs.

ii. Only a maximum of the PIC and 5 additional people on the plane is allowed.

iii. Maximum operating altitude is 18,000 feet.

iv. Vne (Never Exceed) is 236 knots (type design limitations).

3. The operating limits describe in this STC applicable to those pilots without a valid medical certificate.

4. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Piper Aircraft, Inc, Model PA-31, Serial Number 31-7812036. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
