Installation of a FreeFlight Systems Universal Access Transceiver - Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast Class B1 System (UAT-ADS-B) Out in accordance with S. E. Aerospace Master Drawing List (MDL) 12005-001, Rev. C, dated December 12, 2012, or later FAA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this change and any other previously approved modifications will produce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that airplane. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

FAA approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement for FreeFlight Systems, Universal Access Transceiver - Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast Class B1 System (UAT-ADS-B), 12005-020, Rev. (-), dated December 13, 2012 or later FAA approved revision is a required part of this STC.

Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Southeast Aerospace Document No. # 12005-030, Rev (-), dated November 07, 2012, or later FAA accepted revision must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the FAA Approved Model List (AML) Series aircraft is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the F AA AML Series airplane is shown on the TCDS specified on the attached FAA AML for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or a ffected by the change since the reference date of application, February 17, 2012, is based upon part 23 as amended by Amendment 23-62.
