B300/B300C Installation of Underwing Pylons with a Pod and/or Underwing Wiring Tunnel in accordance with: (1) Master Data List, B350-MDL-0036, Revision IR, dated April 27, 2020, or later FAA approved revision. (2) Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) 248-801, Revision IR, dated April 23, 2020, or later FAA accepted revision.
The ICA and its contents must be incorporated into the operator's maintenance program. (3) Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) 04807100, Rev IR, dated 4/27/2020, or 04807101, Rev IR, dated 3/14/2025, or later FAA approved revision. The Configuration specific AFMS is required and must be carried during all flights.
1. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
3. STC SA04178NY is a prerequisite to this installation.

(4) This approval is limited to only the installation of the Configurations listed within MDL, B350-MDL-0036, rev A, or later FAA approved. The FAA has not certified the Pylon Stores for which these provisions are intended. Additional FAA approval to install this equipment is required. The FAA must evaluate the installation to ensure it complies with the applicable airworthiness standards.
(5) Aircraft is required to be Operated in Restricted Category with Pylon Stores installed in accordance with FAA Order 8110.56.
(6) For Configuration B, Equivalent Level of Safety Findings have been made for the following regulation(s): § 23.251 Vibration and buffeting (documented in P&S ELOS Memo ADC-0129-F1).
Certification Basis:
Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Textron, Model B300/B300C airplane is as follows:
(1) The type certification basis for Textron, Model B300/B300C airplane is shown on the TCDS A24CE for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
(2) The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application February 26, 2019, is based upon part 23 as amended by Amendment 23-34 with the exception of those above amendment 23-34, listed below.
